Potty Training - Day 10

I found out today that Pull-ups aren't quite as secure as I imagined. Somehow she got an entire bladder-full on the floor WHILE wearing a pull-up. How? I have no idea.

I requested half a dozen potty-training books from the library. Three of them have arrived, so I'm trying to get through those. The first is Elizabeth Pantley's The No-Cry Potty Training Solution. So far it's pretty much fluff, but I haven't gotten very far. I'll do a more thorough review when I finish.

So again, nothing in the potty, still fairly resistant to sitting on the toilet. She's fairly resistant to everything recently. My theory is that she hasn't been getting enough sleep, since she's been waking up when she goes to the bathroom. She used to go to bed at 7 and sleep until 8. Now we struggle to get her into bed by 7:30, and she usually doesn't fall asleep until at least 8. She's up usually by 6. Sometimes I can get her to go back to bed for a few minutes, but usually not for more than half an hour. I'm not sure how to fix it. The biggest benefit to me of this potty training thing is not having to wake up to leaked diapers. Is it possible to just train on poop? If I can get her to poop in the toilet, I wouldn't care how long she is in diapers.

The though of giving up has occurred to me numerous times in the past few days.
